Mallorca's south-west

Paradise on the Balearic island

Port De Andratx Adobestock 370506754 11 2

Mallorca's south-west is one of the most beautiful and varied regions on the island. From glitzy and glamorous harbours such as Puerto de Andratx, Portals Nous and Port Adriano to romantic mountain villages such as Capdella and dreamy fishing villages such as Sant Elm - the region has something for everyone!

As the island is so diverse, it is full of opportunities. For water sports enthusiasts, for example. Boat lovers can set sail from one of the many harbours. If you don't have your own sailing or motor yacht, you can charter one, for example in Puerto de Andratx. Or take it sporty and hop on a SUP board to glide across the deep blue Mediterranean. Of course, there is also the option of discovering the numerous small bays by canoe.

One of Mallorca's most fascinating diving spots is located in the south-west: diving around the nature reserve island of Dragonera is an experience in itself. The underwater world there presents an astonishing variety of species: from dolphins, groupers, octopus and dentex to colourful anemones or sea snails with an orange-blue neon look.

The diverse possibilities increase the quality of life and make Mallorca's south-west the hotspot of the entire island for locals and visitors alike.
