Puerto Portals is one of Mallorca's most glamorous marinas and is only about 10 minutes by car from the capital. It is "the" hotspot for businessmen, celebrities and members of the Spanish royal family during their summer stays at Marivent Palace. Those on a higher budget will find traditional villas and modern architecture in the exclusive Costa d'en Blanes neighbourhood. This is located on the other side of the motorway. Many people interested in buying who are looking for a safe investment will find what they are looking for in Portals Nous. In addition, Portals Nous is the ideal place for property seekers with children due to its proximity to Palma and renowned international schools.

The closer the property is to the sea, the more the price of a property in Portals Nous varies. History of Puerto Portals

The harbour belonging to Portals Nous is not a historically grown coastal village. The construction planning for the harbour began in the early 1980s. At first, there were great doubts about the success of this harbour project. Critics complained about the long and remote distance to the island's capital Palma de Mallorca.

Despite all the sceptics, there were enough investors who believed in the project and raised the necessary funds. In 1986, the Puerto Portal marina was opened. The intended economic success was uncertain at the time, but over the decades the marina on Mallorca's southwest coast has developed into an attractive hotspot.

In 2016, the luxury port of Puerto Portals celebrated its 30th anniversary. Present were the founding Graf family. Today, the daughter is the managing director of the renowned marina. Many celebrities from the entertainment world, local politics and business also made appearances.
