The villa-like mayor\'s house emerged from a single-storey late classicist building built in 1868 according to designs by the court mason Petzholtz. In its original form, this building existed only until 1881. In 1914, the then owner of the property, Rittmeister Picht, had the house rebuilt and extended. The cubature was slightly altered again in 1937, so that the current appearance largely corresponds to that of 1914.

Historically interesting and worth preserving, the house is listed as an ensemble monument. The approx. 896 m² large property offers eight parking spaces and enough space for bicycles at the back of the house.
