Location

The Northern City Centre can be seen as the centre of Potsdam. Buildings from the past three centuries, especially from the 18th century, characterise the cityscape. From Hegelallee you can reach the parallel Brandenburger Straße, Potsdam's main shopping street, on foot within a few minutes. In the pedestrian zone and its side streets you will find all shops for daily needs, bakeries, cafés, restaurants and bars. This district has excellent transport connections: six tram lines and a dense bus network take you to Potsdam's main railway station in no time at all. From there you can take the S-Bahn or regional train to Berlin in half an hour.
